The Facts About Can You Enlist In The Us Army After

i have terrible eyes, i wear contacts, which means i would have to wear the issued Army glasses. if i get lasic, which would make my eyesight better without contacts or glasses, will they still let me enlist?

    yes, the military will even pay for the lasic if you are goin for pilot or something else that requires 20/20

    Yes the above poster is correct! Let the Army pay for it! Once you enlist you have free medical and let me tell you…It’s amazing! My husband who is active duty army, he’s color blind. They let him enlist but he was restricted on the jobs he could do. Obviously there isn’t surgery to fix his eyes but he also has horrible vision. He wears contacts or the BCG’s (army issued glasses) They did give him the option to have the lasic eye surgery to fix his vision but he hasn’t filed the paper work for it yet! But yes, you can still enlist =)
