Information About Laser Eye Surgery.? -Best Info
My right eye is quite blurry and my left eye is basically normal vision. I wouldn’t say my eye is terribly bad but i still need glasses and i have contact lenses only for my right eye. I have reading glasses which i just recently got and i have contacts for when i go out. I don’t like wearing glasses and i’m fed up of using contacts, it’s uncomfortable and sometimes doesn’t feel like it isn’t working ( it isn’t inside out). I’m 17 years old by the way. I’d really like to have laser eye surgery for that eye but i’m confused about the prices, it doesn’t say much when i look on the internet. Does anyone know the prices for me? I live in england by the way if that helps. I’ve heard its like over £1000 and then i hear it’s for £300 per eye. I think that you have to be 18+ to get laser eye surgery but i’m just wondering. I can’t focus on much sometimes, when i’m watching tv or on the computer and sometimes when i look at people. It’s strange but when i stretch my eye my sight seems to be a little clearer lol i noticed because my eye seems that when i get more tired my sight gets much worse so when i try widen my eye it gets more clearer. I dont think much needs done on my eye so i dont know if that changes the price or not. Thanks anyway

Actually you need to be at least 21, it is not a legal thing it is that you are still growing and so your vision is still changing. Some physicians may perform the procedure for you at your age but it would be unethical not to inform you that it may change again soon. As for the prices it varies. Depending on the physician, some treat rich people and are high profile thus costing more, more modest priced doctors are just as good, sometimes better. If you find one that you agree with their price do your homework. Find out if they have a unsatisfied patients and the percentage of them.
