Or older? Also if my eyes have changed prescription slightly since 2 years ago, will they deteriate faster because my prescription changed slightly. I am currently about -1.75 in each eye and contemplating whether to get it done for around £2000 (in total because I need customvue as my pupils are too big for standard treatment). You should wait till your eyes don’t change for at least 4 years before you do surgery.

Laser eye surgery is a bit of a con in my opinion! It is not a permanent correction your eyes will get worse again to spend many hundreds of pounds and to still need glasses at a later date is pointless and expensive get glasses or contacts

After 20 your eye number will most probably not change, but if you watch a lot of TV then maybe… go for contact lens!

Not at all. Never. Go for contact lenses. Eat carrots & apricots.

You probably get the most value for your money if you do it shortly after your eyes stop changing. For most people this is their mid twenties. The way we expect things to work is that LASIK takes care of your myopia pretty much for life. We do expect you to develop presbyopia some time in your forties. When that happens, you will need reading glasses. If you have LASIK in your mid twenties, you have the best chance at the most glasses free years possible for your money.

Usually a waste if time.
If your eyeball is elongating due to you rejecting 20/20 vision and having a disturbed psychology then you can expect your myopia to easily come back. If you really want to give your money to them why not give it to me. I would like some money.
I’ll take your money and ill leave you will the same result. You will have managed to offload your cash and be guaranteed that your myopia again 2 years later. But by giving the money to me you avoid risks such as worse near vision, dry eyes, worse night vision, scratched cornea etc.
Also if the effect of the treatment directly replicates that of a soft contact lens then you’ll experience peripheral hyperopic blur which will speed up your myopia progression.
Giving money to these guys will just give them more encouragement to find more targets for them to sucker in and rip off.
