This is not an FDA approved proceedure yet. They use a laser to burst the melanin cells in your iris and that makes the color change, it is not considered safe, yet. The laser its self is not the issue, it is relatively a safe thing as it is less invasive than lasik surgery, it is just the aftermath of what is being done that is in question. it s not yet available….i emailed them and the lumineyes team told me that it s not available at this time…but wait a little bit it will be soon available

It is being developed in Beverly Hills, so it’ll probably be available there first. Unfortunately, no one knows when it will be available, but it shouldn’t take long. This WAS a quote from their the Homerlabs website:
“The safety and efficacy of the Lumineyes technology has already been proven in trials conducted at a major U.S. research facility. HomerLabs will conduct further trials before offering this product to the public.”
This was back in July ’08 and since then they’ve released a price, which is $5000, so they’re probably very close to making it available on the market! I personally CANNOT wait to have it done!
